The New Year is not only a time for resolutions and new beginnings, but also for making all kinds of plans. It is no different for both the library and, connected to it, our Informal Historical Group „To Preserve From Obscurity”. In the coming year we are planning interesting events, further musical journeys and other surprises for our readers and supporters. Our historical group will continue both the work at the Jewish cemetery and the research and compilation of further contributions to the history of our little homeland. „Kurier Błażowski” reaches various corners of the world, connecting Blazowa’s residents abroad with the old country. We also have a growing group of English-speaking people who are interested in the past of our town. Google Translate, although very useful as a tool, often does not translate more nuanced texts correctly. That is why we are going to start publishing a little addition to „Kurier” in English. „Blazowa’s Past and Present. News and Historical Notes” will be a regularly published online compilation of both current news from our region and historical articles.
